OLM Systems, part of OLM Group, today announces accreditation of CareFirst 6.9 as compliant with the requirements of Integrated Children’s System (ICS) Phase 1C. The approach to CareFirst 6.9, most importantly goes beyond compliance; it has been designed with simplicity at the heart, to return valuable time to frontline staff.
A substantial £1.25 million has been invested into this tool; OLM Systems has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the ongoing development of the ICS in both England and Wales.
CareFirst 6.9 provides social care practitioners with tools to support the vital work that they undertake at the frontline. New functions remove the need in many instances for staff to duplicate data entry. The new technology also allows local authorities to map their own processes into the system which means staff are automatically guided through the system to the right stage in the process. This approach makes the system highly intuitive for users, vastly reduces training time associated with new process and also reduces the risk of users entering incorrect data. Ultimately, practitioners are able to complete their responsibilities efficiently and spend more time in front of their clients.
Arlene Adams, managing director of OLM Systems commented: “OLM Systems produces software that is designed first and foremost to be usable, and we always believe in the importance of sustained partnerships between both ourselves and customers to achieve that aim.
While other providers have focused on achieving compliance quickly, we have invested significant time, money and resources to ensure that the solution is tailored specifically to the user; we strongly believe that the real measure of success should always be the difference a solution makes to the user.”
The enhancements and improvements contained with this release extend to Welsh frontline practitioners, enabling them to act in a compliant manner with the requirements of the Welsh ICS Phase 1.2.
